Is there room at your inn for a saddle-sore pop-star? Paul Heaton, the voice of chart-topping acts The Beautiful South and The Housemartins, is back on his bike for another epic tour. And he is looking for pubs to help him on his way.
Following the success of last year's "Pedals and Pumps" odyssey, the plan is to do it all over again, only bigger and better. Paul is set to cycle 2,500 miles – 50 miles for each of his 50 years on the planet – through the UK and Ireland, playing at pubs along the route.
Paul is looking for pubs that can provide accommodation and food  after the gig for him, his band and the crew (around six people in total), space for the band to play and capacity for an audience of 80-250 people. A portion of the tickets will be set aside for regulars (proceeds from which are kept by the pub) with the rest sold variously by the pub, Paul's website and Ticketmaster.
