If wherever he lays his hat is his home then for a moment it seemed pop star Paul Young was very much at home at the White Horse Inn in Launceston, Cornwall.
The chart topper was at the pub for a book signing of his new cookbook, ‘Recipes Found on My Travels.’
And after signing the book for fans he couldn’t resist the chance to get behind the bar and pull a pint for the first time.
Landlady Lucy Collins, said: “I was quite surprised that Paul offered. He is such a lovely guy that I couldn’t say no! When he started to pour the pint, the pub went mad with all the locals crowding the bar to take photos, I couldn’t believe it!
“It was such a successful night that we have asked Paul and the book team, if they would come back again at the end of the month and help us cook ‘Paella on the patio’. Hopefully they will say yes!”
Paul’s book tour takes place throughout August. For more information visit www.paulyoungonmytravels.com.
