Footballer turned broadcaster Alan Brazil is making the most of his surname by launching a range of nuts for pubs and bars.
The new nuts, which includes original salted peanuts and dry roasted, will be launched on December 6. Chilli and cashew will follow next year.
Part of the proceeds with be donated to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation for cancer treatment. Brazil was part of Sir Bobby’s successful Ipswich Town side in the 1980s.
Each pack will feature an interactive QR code and a one dimensional barcode, enabling consumers to access talkSPORT radio “live”, plus competitions, videos and exclusive content by scanning the codes using iPhone and Android handsets.
Brazil said: “People have often made puns about my name and I knew that it was only a matter of time before I found the right product and creative team to turn my thoughts of developing Brazil’s Nuts as the leading snack brand into reality - the success of which will directly benefit the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.”
