Carling is making 4.5m pint and half pint glasses as part of its ‘Refreshingly and Brilliantly British’ campaign.
Research by brewer Molson Coors shows that 77 per cent of drinkers prefer the new vessel.
Jeremy Gibson, Carling brand director, said: “Delivering that perfect serve is an absolutely essential part of invigorating the beer category and the right glassware for our beers is crucial."
The new glassware is tougher with thicker walls to reduce breakages and is designed to ensure it provides a better head.
The glassware is available from this week.
